Purpose:
This guide provides details of the customer journey from browsing and purchasing resources to accessing downloads, invoices, and order history within the user portal.
1. PlusCMS customer journey
1.1 Browse Products
Users can browse products wherever a Product Listing component is displayed or by visiting the main product index page.
Products appear as cards showing title, image, and price. Users can click any product card to view full details.
1.2 Add Items To Cart
Click “Add to Cart” on a product to add it to your shopping cart.
Note:
Downloadable products are limited to a quantity of 1 per order.
Shippable products can have multiple quantities.
A quantity limitation message appears on the cart page for each downloadable product.
1.3 Checkout
Click “Checkout” to proceed with your order.
1.4. Select Payment Method
Enter your details, then choose a Payment Method:
Stripe – pay securely online by credit or debit card.
Pay by Invoice (if enabled) – receive an invoice to pay manually.
After completing checkout, users see an on-screen confirmation and receive a confirmation email receipt.
2. Viewing Purchases via the CiviPlus Portal
After purchase, from their account area, customers can view all their orders and download digital resources they’ve purchased.
2.1 Access My Resources
Access My Resources (/sspx/my-resources) to download purchased digital files.
2.2 Access My Orders
The My Orders page displays a list of all orders a user has placed through the Resource Shop.
Access My Orders (/sspx/my-orders) from the user dashboard.
Each order record shows:
Order ID – click the number to open the full order details.
Placed – the date and time the order was created.
Updated – the most recent update time for the order.
Total – the total order value.
Order status – current progress of the order (e.g. Pending, Completed, Cancelled).
Operations – click View to open the order summary page.
From the order summary page, users can:
Review the products included in the order.
Check the payment method and payment status.
Note:
Orders paid by invoice remain in Pending status until payment is recorded by an administrator. Once marked as Completed, any associated downloadable products become available under My Resources.
2.3 Download and Pay Invoices
Invoices are available under the Invoice section of the user account (/sspx/invoices).
Users can open invoices to view payment details or make a manual payment if using the Pay by Invoice method.
