Introduction
As mentioned in other articles, all income received into CiviPlus is known as a "contribution", and there are a number of ways in which fundraising contributions can be summarised and displayed in dashboard format. The two most common ways are from the Contributions menu or as a dashlet on your personalised home dashboard.
Contributions Menu Dashboard
Navigate to Contributions -> Dashboard to access the out of the box Contribution Summary graphs and a list of the most recent donations.
The first part of the dashboard shows a graphical representation of the contributions
There are a number of options to change the layout and content of the graphs:
A. You can toggle between a Chart or a Table layout. If you select the Table layout there are links on the right of the page that allow you to view the details.
B. On the By Month chart view, you can select the year that you are interested in.
C. For both the By Month and By Year graphs you can select either Bar or Pie chart format.
Below the Contributions Summary section of the dashboard the most recent donations are listed. You can page through them, and you can see the details for for any contribution by clicking the link on the right hand side of the page.
Home Page Dashboard
The Home Page of CiviPlus allows you show a personalised dashboard containing dashlets, some of which display fundraising tables and charts.
CiviPlus ships with a number of fundraising dashlets out of the box, and you can create you own dashlets to add to your customised home page dashboard. This is described here.
