This article explains the main membership reports available in CiviPlus, how dashboards are used, and common best practices.

You can modify the standard Membership reports to meet your specific needs, for example:

Scheduled and emailed to staff
Details on how to do this are in the article on using Reports here
Membership Dashboards
There are two types of Membership Dashboard available in CiviPlus. The first is available from the Memberships → Dashboard menu, and shows a table of Membership Signup and Renewal Activity across all Membership Types:
The first block shows a summary of new joiners and renewals for each of the Membership types, highlighting the last two months and the totals Year to Date (YTD).
In the name the Primary member counts (those who "own" the membership rather than receiving via relationship) are in [brackets], the total number of memberships included inherited members are shown to the right of the [brackets].
The second block in the table lists the most recent membership activity by contact name.
The second type of Membership Dashboard are those that appear as Dashlets on the persoanlised Home Page dashboard for each CiviPlus user.
Each of the Dashlets can be dragged onto the dashboard, and they will they appear whenever the user logs in. The Dashlets can be created from the standard reports described in the section above, or by creating bespoke reports using Searchkit. How to do this is described in the article here.
