Introduction

CiviPlus uses a template to generate invoices that can be emailed to users or downloaded from the Self-Service Portal (SSP). The template allows you to change the text and logo that appears on the invoice to meet your organisation's requirements.

Adding/changing the logo on the Invoice Template

Step 1 - Find and save your logo file

You will need to upload your logo image file to CiviPlus, so make sure that it is available in a location that can be accessed when you are logged onto CiviPlus as an administrator. The format needs to be PNG or JPEG.

Step 2 - Upload the Logo file to CiviPlus

  • Go to Mailing > Message Templates and chose a random template. Click "Edit".

  • In the template editor, select the image upload tool

  • Change the tab to “Upload”

  • Select “Choose file” and find your logo file

  • Select “Send to server”

When the upload is complete, there will be a url populated for the file. Record this for later use. E.g.

Step 3 - Find the invoice template

  • Go to Administer > Communications > Message Templates

  • Change the tab from “User-Driven Messages” to “System Workflow Messages”

  • Scroll down to find the template “Contributions - Invoice”

  • Select edit to open the template to edit

Step 4 - Add the html to add the image to the template

  • In the template, add new lines after the first “body” element where shown by the arrow:

  • Add the following code:

<br>
<br>
<img src="YOURIMAGE"; height=auto; width="200px"; padding-top:"200px"

Step 5 - Add the correct image url

  • Replace the “YOURIMAGE” text with the url saved for uploaded logo file

<br>

<br>
