Introduction
The Cases Dashboard is the best place to start managing your cases. It provides a central view of all cases in the system, and defaults to show those assigned to the current user. It’s designed to be a work hub for staff who manage or deliver Cases. - a “home page” for case management where users can quickly see:
Which cases they are working on.
The status of those cases.
Basic details at a glance.
Using the Cases Dashboard
Navigate to Cases -> Dashboard to see the standard Cases Dashboard. The page is divided into different areas, as described below:
By clicking the cog icon you can select the Case statuses that you want to see in the dashboard.
The list of Case Types is shown here. You can click one to filter on that particular Case only.
The list of Case Statuses is shown at the top of the screen, along with a summary of how many cases are in that stage. As mentioned in (1) above, you can choose which statuses you want to include by clicking the cog icon. If you click the number the dashboard will automatically filter on all cases with that status.
The total number of Case Types in each status is shown in the relevant row. If you click on the number the dashboard will automatically filter on all cases of that type with that status.
You can filter on Cases that you are involved with (i.e. Any role is assigned to you), Cases that you own (i.e. you are the Case Manager), or All Cases.
Case Calendar - this gives a calendar view of case events, both past and future. One or more dots against a particular date means that there are activities on that day, red dots mean that the activities are overdue.
Any new cases for you this week are shown. You can change the filter to show new cases of yours for this month.
Any Milestone Activities assigned to you and due this week will be shown here. You can change the filter to show Milestone due this month.
Activities of any type (task, communication etc) assigned to you and due this week will be shown here. You can change the filter to show any Activities due this month.
The Cases Dashboard allows you to manage your Case workload, see exactly which clients need attention today, this week or month. As a manager, you can track your team's caseloads and identify bottlenecks and get a quick overview without running full reports.
