How to enable the Review Applications tab of the SSP for a user

Introduction

Review Applications a feature in the Self-Service Portal that displays a list of application cases (Awards, Grants etc) where the logged-in user is a member of a Review Panel. It allows the user to view and submit reviews for the applications.

Permissions required to see the Renew Applications tab

The Renew Applications tab will be shown to users in the Self-Service Portal if they have the following permissions assigned:

  • CiviAwards: Access awards panel portal

  • CiviAwards: Access review fields

Typically there is a role named "Review Panel Member" with these permissions assigned.

Note: Although a user may see the Review Applications tab in the Self-Service Portal, they will not actually be able to view any Review Requests unless they are a member of a Review Panel associated with a particular application. How to configure this in CiviPlus is covered here.
