Public or Private files?
Files can be saved in two main locations: public and private.
Public files are accessible to anyone who visits the website, meaning they can be easily linked or downloaded by users.
Private files are protected and can only be accessed by specific users based on the permissions set by the site administrator.
The choice between public and private file destinations depends on how sensitive the file content is and whether access needs to be restricted. Always use private storage for any files that shouldn't be publicly available.
