The CPD module can be used by CiviPlus staff users and by Self Service Portal users. This article covers how staff users can perform the following tasks:
View, add to or amend an individual's CPD record
Configure an event so that CPD points are awarded automaticallyView, add or amend a CPD record
When you visit an individual's contact page you click on a Tab on the left of the screen to view the CPD Activity, as below:
The CPD activities are listed in a table, with the following columns:
CPD Title - The name of the CPD activity. This can be entered manually, or defaults to the event name if the CPD points are awarded as a result of attending an event.
Date - The date when the CPD points were earned. This can be entered manually, or defaults to the date that an event was marked as attended if the CPD points are linked to event attendance.
CPD Category - Each CPD activity can be assigned a specifc category. The list of valid categories is held in a multi-value custom field called "CPD Category" in the "CPD Activity" fieldset.
Hours - The number of hours that this activity has earned. This can be entered manually, or is configured as part of the CPD section on an event.
Reflections - This is a comments field that can be used to make short notes about each CPD activity.
Evidence This can hold a file attachment that may be required to earn the CPD award.
For each row in the table, you can perform certain actions on the CPD Activity"
View - Shows the CPD Activity on a page
Edit - Allows you to change any of the fields on the CPD activity, including the date.
Delete - Removes the CPD Activity from this contact's list.
Copy - Creates a copy of the CPD Activity which you can edit and then save.
