The CiviPlus Continuing Professional Development (CPD) functionality integrates with the Events module and the Self Service Portal to provide an end to end CPD management system supporting the personal development training needs of members and other stakeholders.

CPD can comprise a range of different activities, from attending events to self learning, with the details logged within the Self Service area.

Users can login to the Self Service Portal and record the details of any activities they have performed. They can specify the hours for these and record comments or reflections on those activities. The system shows a useful chart so they can track their learning or can be configured to have a goal for the period. They edit or delete their CPD data, and even download it to a CSV file.

Alternatively CPD points can be automatically awarded by attending appropriate events. CPD points for an event can be set up by the administrator within the events module. CiviPlus staff can also manually add CPD achievments to a contact's record.
