The My CPD functionality of the Self Service Portal allows you to view and amend your CPD activities yourself. Using My CPD you can:
View the professional development hours you have earned over a specific period of time.
View the toal number of CPD hours you have earned against an annual target.
Add, edit, and delete your CPD activities.
Export the details of your CPD achievments to a file
Viewing, Editing or deleting your CPD Activities
Log onto the Self Service Portal and click on "My CPD" from menu of the left opf the screen. You will see the CPD summary pages as shown below:
On this page you can view:
Basic Details - Your user name and membership details are shown here.
Total Hours - The total hours that you have earned is shown, and the target number of hours. Note: If your administrator has not configured a target number of hours in the system then the Total Hours block will not be shown.
Leaning Progress - A bar chart shows the number of CPD hours you have earned over a period of time.
Filter Dates - You can select from a set of preset dates (This month, Last month, Last 12 months etc), or choose your own date range. Note: The Total Hours block is not affected by the date filter - it always shows the total number of hours earned.
Formal Learning, Work Based Learning, Professional Activity etc - You will see a list of your CPD activities recorded grouped by the CPD learning type they related to. You can click the Edit button to change the details for any of your CPD activities, or click the Delete button to remove it completely.
Locked CPD records
When you view your My CPD page you may see the following message
This can happen if you are making an application for something (eg an Award) which involves a review of your CPD history. During the review your CPD activities may be locked to prevent any additions/changes until the process has been completed, at which time the lock will be removed.
Adding a new CPD record
Simply click the Add CPD Record button to store your new CPD record in the CiviPlus system.
Fill in the form's mandatory fields (Title, Date, Category and Hours), and if you want or need to you can add a Reflections (comment) field and upload an Evidence file. Note: The uploaded evidence file must be one of the following formats: gif png jpg jpeg doc docx xls xlsx pdf ppt pptx pps ppsx odt ods odp.
When you have completed the form click the Save button to store your new CPD record into the CiviPlus system.
Export your CPD Activities
To export all of your recorded CPD activities simply click the Export button on the "My CPD" tab. A comma separated variable (CSV) file will be created and saved to the downloads folder on your computer. This file will be named: CPD_Activities_yyyy-mm-dd, and can be opened/imported into a spreadsheet or emailed to a third party.
